Exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Care Assistant to join Suffolk Exotic Vets

We are very excited to be able to recruit for a Veterinary Care Assistant role in our new start up practice, working solely with exotic species. The ideal candidate will provide support to the vet on duty, mainly by holding of animals and peri-operative care. Assisting in cleaning and looking after animals during their stay in practice. You will also be required to perform reception duties.
This is a permanent full or part time position.
Working hours: 9-3pm 3 days a week. 1 day 9-5pm. Sat (9 -12pm) 1 in 2.
This is a new practice and rota/working hours will be reviewed frequently
Salary package up to £18 000 per annum depending on experience.
What are we looking for?
 Experience in handling some exotic species 
 Providing excellent client and pet care 
 Good communication skills
 Experience in a customer facing role
 Enthusiasm
